We apply engineering principles to understand how tissue microenvironments influence cancer initiation, development, and therapy response.

I’m investigating the impact of the cellular microenvironment on the proliferation of breast cancer cells and its relation to DNA damage response signaling pathways. I focus on the role of different proteins and kinases, observing their responses to DNA-damaging agents such as chemotherapy drugs.

I’m currently pursuing a B.S. in biomedical engineering at Cornell. I’m working with Dr. Elizabeth Moore in her broader research project on the relation of genome stability, DDR signaling pathways, and the cellular microenvironment. Outside of the lab and academics, I like listening to music, dancing, hanging out with friends, and exploring new places.
