Claudia has been awarded a fellowship for experienced researchers by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Germany. This fellowship will allow her to conduct a one-year research project in the Department of Biomaterials at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam, Germany where she will collaborate with Dr. Peter Fratzl to evaluate the role of bone materials properties in breast cancer bone metastasis.
